Not all consistency is progress. Sometimes it’s escapism with a productivity glow.

I used to believe that if I did today’s bit, future would take care of itself.

Small steps. Consistent actions. Structured routine.

I justified it as “bias for action”

but it was actually 𝗯𝗶𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

Motion, without imagination; without direction.

An alibi to avoid doing the real thing - the hard thing.

An excuse to run away from deeper thinking.

I also called it “living in the present”

but it was the opposite – living in habit.

Oblivious to the choice each moment offered.

Playing the same shot, not matter how the ball was bowled.
